Verzenden via bol (VVB): how shipping via bol works for sellers

Verzenden via bol (VVB, "shipping via bol") means you pack and ship your bol orders yourself, but with a shipping label you create through bol. Bol arranges the carrier, often Ampère (bol's own delivery service), and the tracking is linked to the order straight away.

Your stock stays with you or with your fulfilment company. That is the big difference from Logistiek via bol (LVB), where bol also handles storage and packing.

How does Verzenden via bol work?

Broadly, it goes like this:

1. A bol order comes in. You see it in your seller account, or it arrives through an integration at your premises or your fulfilment company.
2. You pack the order. Yourself, or in your fulfilment partner's warehouse together with your other orders.
3. You create a VVB label. You can do this in bol's seller account or through software connected to bol. You choose the size and bol decides which carrier takes the parcel.
4. The parcel goes to the carrier. You hand it in at a drop-off point, or it is collected. If your fulfilment company is a drop-off point itself, it leaves straight from the warehouse.
5. The order is marked as shipped. Because the label runs through bol, bol sees the tracking and delivery status without you having to pass them on.

Ampère: bol's carrier

Ampère is the delivery service bol set up itself for parcels from bol sellers. With VVB, some or all of your parcels go via Ampère, and some may go via another carrier bol works with.

Parcels for Ampère are handed in at a drop-off point. Some fulfilment companies are an official Ampère drop-off point themselves: Ampère then collects the parcels at their warehouse. Verzenden via bol with a fulfilment company

If you also sell through your own webshop or on Amazon, VVB is often how you ship bol orders from the same stock. The fulfilment company pulls in bol orders through an integration, creates the VVB labels and ships them together with your other orders.
